Downer Group are currently seeking applications from an experienced Workforce Planner to join our Health and Education business in Adelaide.

The Workforce Planner will ensure successful workforce management including forecasting, scheduling, rostering and support of management to ensure effective and efficient workforce planning and utilisation. They will be responsible for developing a workforce plan, including rostering of service lines for the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) and using the analysis to support decision making and high performance service delivery.

ABOUT YOU

• Rostering/workforce planning within a large organisational setting with a 24-hour period of operations
• Working with workforce administrative processes including generating contracts of employment and variations
• Intermediate user of Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency with Kronos Dimensions is highly desirable
• Data analysis
• Intermediate ability with document preparation, use of spreadsheets, email, recruitment and payroll software
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills
• Ability to understand Award and Agreement entitlements
• High level of attention to detail
• Questions information and ensures compliance
• Works with a high degree of autonomy and escalates more complex issues and problems when identified
• Exercises discretion when developing rosters
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Maintains confidentiality
