The Role: CSG have been retained by a global mining contractor to identify talented health & safety leaders to successfully deliver a first of its kind underground mining project. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an iconic UK project.

Job title: Health & Safety Superintendent

The Opportunity: Play a key part in delivering and driving health & safety performance across the site. You will bring in valuable leadership knowledge and experience across safety, risks, legislation's and training methods to ensure the project is executed to the highest industry standards.

Core responsibilities:
  • Safety leadership
  • H&S training and development
  • Risk management and assessments
  • Meet high safety targets and performance requirements
  • Regulations and legislation knowledge
  • Incident / accident investigation
  • Performance management

Key requirements:
  • 5-10 years' experience in health and safety capacity
  • Underground | Mining | Tunnelling | Boring Health & Safety experience
  • Health & Safety leadership experience
  • Degree educated in a related field
  • Excellent communicator
  • Strong ability to influence at all levels
