About the Role
We are currently looking for a team member to help assist BHPs surface electrical team to conduct an audit / collect data for hazardous chemicals stored with in their department. This involves collecting Data from the common chemicals used in the team and then liaising with the the hazardous chemical team to get approval for the material to then be used.

What You Will Be Doing
Carrying out a Hazardous substance audit and then from the audit, populate a hazardous substance register.
  1. Carry out an audit of the current hazardous chemicals used with in the surface electrical team. This includes such things as CRC, anti seize, calibration chemicals, and paints etc. MSDS will need to be sourced.
  2. From the audit we will need to gain permission to use these chemicals/ materials in the surface electrical team. This is done by populating an application form and sending it to an internal team for approval. All these forms are already in the system and just need to be populated.
  3. Once approved for use, we then need to have a register of the hazardous materials used also documenting where they are stored.

What You Will Need
- Current OD Site Inductions
  • - Current C Class Drivers Licence preferred
  • - Data entry experience advantageous
  • - Excel knowledge
  • - Quality control driven with strong attention to detail
  • - Local accommodation to Roxby Downs required
