We are a full-service consultancy experiencing exceptional growth due to a pipeline of high profile projects and future workforce planning requirements. Due to this growth, we are looking for an experienced Asset and Materials Engineerto work within ourteam.
About the Role
As an Asset and Materials Engineer, you will work closely with our experienced and driven engineers across our global practice to deliver high-quality engineering on a diverse range of exciting and challenge projects. You will have the opportunity to improve and build on your technical skills while interacting face to face with our local clients through all project stages.
Thisrole is based in Sydney, however, interstate and short-term travel will be required to various locations across Australia for project requirements.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
• Site visits and condition assessment of civil infrastructure including bridges, culverts, tunnels, wharves, rails, road and highway assets, water infrastructure and buildings;
• Diagnostic testing of concrete or steel structures;
• Corrosion management and repair specifications;
• Asset planning;
• Durability design;
• Data collection and analysis;
• Proposals and reports;
• Project management including technical, quality and financial performance aspects in accordance with client briefs.
• Contribution to a team environment and an interest in building business through the delivery of high-quality project outcomes focused on solving client challenges.
About You
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Materials Science;
• 3-5 years’ project engineering experience;
• Excellent report writing skills;
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software;
• Ability to work independently and under own initiative, or actively contribute as an effective member of a team.
