Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Assay Lab Technician with our process department at Carlin. The ideal candidate will possess a background in process, mining, and metals.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Assay Lab Supervisor, the Assay Lab Technician is responsible for the following:

• Responsible for the preparation of ore samples, process samples, and exploration samples
• The technician will also be utilized in fire assay, wet laboratory, and operation of analytical instrumentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Six (6) months experience in an analytical laboratorypreferred
• Familiarity with chemicals and laboratory procedures preferred
• Knowledge of computer operation required
• Exemplary safety and attendance record required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without reasonable accommodations required
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize a heavy workload required
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers in a team environment required
