MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Matric certificate/ equivalent
Procurement Management Certificate
5 years' experience in stores control & procurement
Drivers License - Code 08
Computer literacy - MS Office; Sage equivalent; e-mail & internet
Medically Fit
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Knowledge of Contract Mining Industry
Knowledge of Codes of Practice & Working Guides
Good communication
Ability to deal with all levels of management
Good planning and organising skills
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Compliance to Inventory procedures and implementation thereof
Ensuring appropriate stores working practices and controls are followed
Set up of stores on new sites established
Implementation and management of Inventory for the African Continent
Management of Inventory Staff
Prepare & submit monthly & ad-hoc stores administration reports
Maintenance of Sage Inventory control Module
Reconciliations of Sage modules to Actual
Co-ordination and reconciliation of monthly Stock takes
Management of Auditors as required
Implementing controls for safeguarding of Inventory
Setting and tracking of Min/Max levels
Liaison with Group entities were required
Inventory reporting as required
Procurement of Inventory items
Accurate receipt and issuing of inventory
Appropriately load & secure goods for transportation
Perform ad-hoc general office administration as & when required
