Provide mentorship and technical leadership to the Oreflow and Fixed Plant group accountable for safe and reliable delivery of ore from the mines to the mill. Support the Divisional VP in the safe operation and maintenance of conveyors, crushers, shafts, fans, pumps, compressors and ventilation controls. In addition to attending day to day requirements, support the development of the systems and capabilities that sustain and improve the groups performance. Liaise with global suppliers and technology providers as most of the plant and equipment employs technologies not currently available within Indonesia. This position requires high levels of leadership, maintenance skill, good communication skill and good administration skill.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the implementation and improvement of Safety, Health and Environmental standards and the achievement of a zero harm workplace

2. Provide technical instructional support to national staff and non- staff for relevant planning activities to ensure robust business performance, clear tracking of activities and costs and high quality works in the field.

2. Review and analyze maintenance plan (i.e., schedules, machinery usage and repairs, and maintenance backlogs, and manning issues) in order to ensure that proper maintenance is carried out.

3. Review and improve material requirement planning, MO system, and KPI (PA, UA, etc.) in correlation with SAP.

4. Provide expertise in SAP system and ensure all spare parts and equipment are properly input into the SAP system.

5. Assist in managing special projects in order to ensure the achievement of projects' objectives according to company's policies and procedures.

6. Assist in the development of the team through the crafting of training plans, mentoring, coaching, and motivation of national employees to enhance their skill, knowledge, and capability to an acceptable high standard.

7. Present professional development advice/recommendation in leadership in order to promote supervisory skill of national staff.

8. Guide, monitor, and control the implementation of safety standards and procedures within work area to minimize accident and damage.

9. Develop and lead an operational readiness program for new facilities and equipment.

10. Strong interaction with field teams to support leadership.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mining/Mechanical/Electrical/Structural Engineering with ten (10) years of experience on large scale, complex mine maintenance activities OR ten (10) years of Trade experience in a Mechanical/Electrical field on large scale, complex mine maintenance activities.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a Superintendent level or higher role.
  • A training/teaching capability.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office & SAP.
  • Experience in dealing with cultural diversity.
  • Sound analytical and synthesis skill, including problem analysis, cost and financial analysis.
  • Sound decision-making skill.
  • Other PTFI mandatory competencies.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) and willing to learn Bahasa.
