Position summary
Skilltech, a division of the Downer Group, is one of Australia's largest providers of metering services. We undertake over 50 million metering service visits on behalf of water, electricity and gas utilities across Australia each year.

An opportunity has become available for Electricians to join our team in the Perth Metropolitan region.

Reporting into the Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient removal of electrical meters and replacing them with advanced meters. As part of this role, you will work collaboratively to ensure compliance to policies and procedures as well as ensuring work orders are completed on time and to budget. To be successful in the role you will need to be safety focused and proactively work to maintain our high standards around quality, risk and compliance.
Reference checks, medical checks and national police checks are a mandatory part of our recruitment process.

ABOUT YOU

• WA Electrical License is essential
• Current drivers' licence is essential
• Safety focused with a high level of attention to detail
• Well-developed communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• On time reliable, punctual and able to meet strict deadlines
• Forward thinking and the ability to embrace and enhance change
• Experience in metering is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided
