About this role

The Requisition to Pay Governance analyst position will support the Requisition to Pay process and execution for Newmont globally. The Analyst will provide support with the ongoing implementation of Newmont's R2PO and Supplier Risk Management framework and support Supply Chain initiatives where needed. They will be focused on helping Newmont create and follow best practice processes and reduce risk exposure when doing business with suppliers. This position will support Global Supply Chain processes and enforce standards to govern compliance all functional areas of Newmont as it relates to the Requisition to Pay process.

Your role will consist of

  • Support the Global Supply Chain Governance Team with coordinating sustainability for the global systems and processes that support the Requisition to Pay (R2P) objectives including optimization of the system and reporting capabilities where needed to support the business.
  • Consolidate and present feedback from global stakeholders and end users on current R2P process to better understand overall impact to the business. Act as a facilitator between Supply Chain, and Accounts Payable, and Information Technology teams to ensure clear operation objectives and collaboration.
  • Develop reports and templates and undertake analysis on data to measure key metrics for the functions and operations. Assist with building and maintaining Source to Contract(S2C) and Procure to Pay(P2P) reports to govern compliance built on best practices - Track progress and trends for quarterly review.
  • Ensure all team documents used throughout the supplier lifecycle remain up-to-date and relevant. This will include but not be limited to templates, How-to Guides, Procedure Documents, Guidelines and Standards.

Your training, skills, and experience checklist

Knowledge:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (business, finance, accounting, supply chain, engineering, or similar)
  • Post graduate qualifications highly regarded
  • Solid understanding of end to end Supply Chain business processes

Experience:
  • Minimum of five years of experience working for an extraordinary supply management organization, with proven track record of using data to draw meaningful insights, solve problems and deliver strategic outcomes
  • Extensive system knowledge and experience in Ariba
  • Knowledge of template maintenance in S2C and end to end integration between SLP, Risk, S2C highly regarded
  • System knowledge and experience in SAP preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships

Skills and Abilities:
  • Superior quantitative and qualitative analytics skills
  • Strong experience using analytical methods and tools
  • Self-directed requiring limited guidance
  • Communication and interpersonal skills; ability to deal with a large, complex set of internal stakeholders
  • Problem solving abilities in complex and ambiguous situations
  • Strong PC skills using MS office software
  • Competent with off-the-shelf analytical tools and software (e.g. MS Excel, Tableau, Tableau or similar desirable)


Working conditions and location

  • The position is preferably based in the Denver corporate office
  • Position will require travel to other domestic and international sites.


The salary range offered for this role is $80,410 - 99,330. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate's salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
