Paralegal - FFI Legal

Employment type: 12-month fixed-term contract. Preferably full-time, but part-time or job-share arrangements will be considered.

Work Location: Perth

Roster: Monday to Friday

About the role

As a valued member of the FFI legal team, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the team that manages FFI's confidentiality agreements and similar contract templates.

In this role you will primarily:

• draft, review and negotiate confidentiality agreements and similar templates for the business
• work closely with our operations team to streamline our contracting processes
• support the legal team with day to day administrative and non-administrative duties
• work closely with FFI's legal team and other teams across the business

About you:

As the successful candidate, you will:

• ideally have at least 3 years' experience working as a paralegal or in a similar role
• have commercial acumen and experience in contract drafting and negotiation
• have a keen interest in process improvements and a desire to learn new skills
• have an interest in the renewables and energy sectors
• be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines
• understand and be able to communicate risk to internal stakeholders
• build strong working relationships and engage with people from diverse backgrounds
• have a strong work ethic and the capability to work with initiative and independence
• have a collaborative attitude and approach in all aspects of working life

Candidates must be able to bring a flexible mindset, challenge traditional thinking, and be prepared to work outside of their comfort zone.
