Superintendent Integrated Planning

Work Location: Perth - Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: Monday to Friday (with site travel as required)

We are currently seeking a Superintendent of Integrated Planning. This role is responsible for managing and optimising the performance of the Fortescue integrated supply chain through the development of rolling production and quality plans that integrate our mining, rail, and port operations together with shipping and marketing within the context of our annual and strategic business plans.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Managing the delivery of rolling 2 Year, 3 Month, 2 Week and daily production and quality plans that integrates Fortescue operations with Marketing and Shipping, and ensure the optimal utilisation of Fortescue's orebodies and assets
  • Continuous improvement of supply chain performance through the collation and analysis of data, and through the identification and implementation of initiatives that deliver increased value for Fortescue

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology and/or similar related, with solid understanding of mining operations, geology, and/or bulk logistics operations
  • Minimum 5 Years' experience in a mining or bulk logistics operations
  • Demonstrated experience in leading technical and operational team
  • Demonstrated experience building positive working relationships with the ability to influence business outcomes in a networked organisation
  • Effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders with varying technical knowledge
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Team oriented and strong ability to take initiatives towards continuous improvement
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
