POSITION SUMMARY

Downer's Road Services business is one of the largest non-government owned road services businesses in Australia. We operate from a network of over 50 depots and maintain more than 36,000 km of road. Our business is involved in many exciting ventures within the civil road industry throughout the country.

We currently have an opportunity available for an Asphalt Plant Operative/ Laboratory Technician to join our highly experienced team based in Mowbray, TAS. This role would be well suited to someone with a high regard for safety and quality.

ABOUT YOU

• Highly effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Preferred knowledge of best practices and relevant systems within a production environment- but not essential
• Loader and Forklift license is desirable but not essential
• Trade background would be advantageous- with strong Mechanical Aptitude
• Sound literacy and numeracy skills
• Flexibility surrounding day and night shift work
• Be committed to safe working practices
