Rio Tinto operates the worlds largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure.
About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Planner for a position based in the Pilbara on a 5/2 4/3 roster, FIFO from Perth.
What you will be doing:
- Utilise SAP to perform detailed planning of jobs, capturing improvement changes, developing estimations of resource requirements and ordering materials
- Create, publish and track the budget for area responsibility
- Prioritising work with the Supervisors, Superintendents and external departments, utilising your considerable stakeholder and relationship building skills
- Experience utilising a Computerised Maintenance Management System
- Exposure to maintenance planning of Fixed Plant Assets
- Experience developing and refining the scope of works and critical path for outages to optimise and manage business impact
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office including Project and Excel
- Detail understanding of Work Management and Zero-Based Budgeting principles
- Trade Background or relevant Engineering Degree is preferable
