We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join our Water team in the Bay of Plenty. You will work with our wider management team and will be responsible for overall delivery of our key contract with the Tauranga City Council & Western Bay of Plenty Council as well as helping manage water construction projects within the region. This is a great role for a driven individual looking to make their mark!
You will also be part of the greater North Island Water leadership team and assist in the delivery and growth of this area.

Organisation is key in this role, where you are responsible for forward planning, programming coordinating resource and let's not forget the best part - delivering high quality work to the community you live in. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with other water maintenance/construction teams and you day will include but not be limited to:
About you:
Ideally you will have a qualification in water, drainage, construction or similar, and you would need to be able to demonstrate success in Contract or Project Management experience. Ideally in water or drainage contracts, but not subject to. You'll have positive leadership skills, collaborative by nature and the ability to lead and enable others and excel in utilising your adaptable communication skills.
Combining these together, you'll be driven, committed and hard-working. You'll have strong time management skills and enjoy working as part of a team. You're passionate about delivering great results and can comfortably communicate with other managers and field staff to deliver on time and budget.

- Producing project methodology, budgets and programmes
- Collaborative Stakeholder Engagement and fronting client meetings
- Lead tenders' submissions and quotations
- Focusing on industry leading quality and health and safety
- Overall responsibility for specific project implementation and delivery of the water contract
- Directing and leading managers, supervisors, and their teams as well as sub-contractors
About you:
