Role Details

Reporting to the Leading Hand: Mechanical (LV), you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative vehicle maintenance and repairs of light vehicles and other areas of the operation as required.

This is offered on 8 days on 6 days off roster and is FIFO from Perth.

About the role:

• Ensuring the achievement of budgeted maintenance targets by practising preventative maintenance
• Support the efficient operation of the light vehicle maintenance facilities by providing reliable and accurate maintenance knowledge, expertise, and practical application, to minimise down time and subsequent loss of production
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the maintenance workshops and wherever maintenance work is carried out
• Completing all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties, such as requisitioning of parts and materials, processing of maintenance orders and recording of labour time

About you:

• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical (Light Vehicle) Qualification

• Proven experience in light vehicle maintenance in an underground gold mining environment
• Extensive knowledge of light-vehicle technologies and equipment, as well as servicing and maintaining Toyota Landcruiser's and Hilux's
• Possess a valid driver's license, WA Dangerous Goods Card, Working at Heights and Confined Spaces
