The role will have responsibility to:
  • Ensure personal and team compliance with all company HSE requirements & policies including Fitness for Work.
  • Complete any HSE tasks only if the hazards and any potential consequences
  • Participate in all NML safety initiatives and the expectation to chair performance dialogues and 274 inspections as required.
  • Complete 274 inspections CHESS and CCM entries as required.
  • Deliver induction training packages to a large audience and assist with users to complete online.
  • Review Training schedule to find efficiencies without effecting quality.
  • Sign off inductees in MY learning and creating digital records same day using ipads.
  • Run training reports and operate as Level 3 My Learning Administrator.
  • Provide My Learning technical advice to end users, instructors, and people leaders
  • Review training content for relevance and accuracy, providing feedback to management when required on content.

Essential criteria:
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience with Certificate qualification in Administration, Business or Completion of secondary and vocational education
  • Certificate in Workplace Assessment and Training or similar
  • Cert IV Training qualification.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Working knowledge of My Learning, Trobexis, CHESS, CCM and MS Excel Intermediate.

Desirable Criteria
  • Manage large induction mobilisations
  • Create training schedules from available rooms and trainers to maximize resources and outcomes
  • Time management and demonstrated forward planning skills
  • Good understanding of administrative tasks including data entry, maintaining schedules, keeping records, responding to queries etc.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously from time to time.
  • High attention to detail with good time management skills.
  • Strong active listening & interpersonal skills.

The Requirements.
  • Must have proof of a completed Police Clearance within the last six months.
  • Must have a current PNG Class 6 License
