Fortescue Future Industries is currently undertaking a rapid expansion and are seeking applications for a Senior Commercial Analyst to support Fortescue's portfolio of Decarbonisation projects. The successful candidate will be able to support the development of renewable energy-driven industrial processes critical to the production of sustainable energy/chemicals in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.

The successful candidate will be able to support the development of renewable energy-driven industrial processes critical to the production of sustainable energy/chemicals in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Build, maintain and expand financial and project analysis tools to assess Green Energy and decarbonisation projects
- Engage with the project teams to frame and analyse key project decisions and gather critical data
- Coordinate the development of business cases, presentations, and briefing memos for internal and external audiences
- Analysis and balancing of project portfolio
- Technical market analysis and comparison of external projects
Qualifications and skills required:
- Strong commercial modelling background
- Extensive experience in commercial and technical analysis
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Previous experience in commercial agreements and transactions would be an advantage
- Highly motivated and proactive individual, comfortable working autonomously in a complex environment
- Previous experience in renewable energy, project finance or energy market simulation software (eg PLEXOS) would be advantageous
