About the job
Futureproofing Cameron road is a long term project on which you will be exposed to every discipline of civil construction and have a great 'foot in the door' opportunity to pursue a career in the discipline that excites you the most. In this initial role you will be involved in the general operation of hand tools, trucks, and machinery as well as day-to-day manual labouring duties on site. You will be responsible for:

• Helping with safe site setup for your crew and the general public
• Ensuring efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment
• Working as part of a cohesive team to deliver to projects
• Being open and willing to develop your skill set and advance your career

These are full-time, permanent roles working across Monday - Friday with occasional weekend & night work. You are guaranteed 40 hours each week.

Ultimately, we are looking for individuals who are willing to learn and develop a career with Downer. Along with your outgoing attitude and commitment to safe workplace practices, you will have a Full NZ Drivers License, be physically fit, and comfortable taking direction. Training is on offer for candidates with the right attitude!
