UG Mine Planning Manager / Chief - USA

Will consider a strong Senior Underground Planning Engineer, who is ready for the step up to Manager / Chief.

Leading US producer, the largest supplier of their kind in country, with one of the deepest underground mines, seek experienced Manager Mine Planning / Chief, in a newly created role.

Our client is the largest supplier of its commodity to the entire US market, meeting over half of all US demand; and also have other underground assets in the US, Canada and LATAM.

NYSE listed, our client has long established operations with sustainable, and long, LOM.

Known for their high innovation, my client has addressed unprecedented demand for production by introducing 'first time' underground mining methods ever seen in the US; which requires reworking of the planning function. The role of Manager Mine Planning is pivotal in devising this strategy and road-map; and your direction would be markedly reflected and recognised.

The successful candidate will own the entire planning function, and its staff, and reports directly into the Technical Services Director; the role is also highly visible to the executive.

My clients operations are within a daily commute of the city; enabling you to be home every night. My client will readily relocate you, and your family, for the opportunity. They will also provide temporary housing for several months at the outset.

Subsequently, we are very interested to hear from underground experienced senior mine planning engineers with commensurate experience to the above. You must have an undergraduate degree in mine engineering / similar, and at least eight years experience in the technical services function; or a combination of operations and tech services. My client would consider a properly motivated senior engineer looking for the step up; or a current planning lead.
