Description

This position is located at the Henderson Mill site off of CO-9 between Kremmling, CO and Silverthorne, CO. This is a rural, alpine area approximately 2 hours from the Denver metropolitan area. The mill is at an altitude of approximately 10,000 feet. In the winter the average high temperature is 28 degrees and the average low is 0 degrees. In the summer the average high temperature is 75 degrees and the average low is 40 degrees. The average snowfall in Summit/Grand counties is in excess of 250 inches per year. Packing Material Handlers are skilled employees who operate at least one material handling system in the production process such as conveyors, transfer chutes, and material load-out systems. In addition, employees are versed in inventory scheduling and shipment tracking systems. Employees work under minimal supervision in environments where the primary objectives, is safe production. - Operate packing equipment that may include: bag packers, conveyors, printers and LCD screens - Perform basic troubleshooting on various packing equipment - Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes and skid-steer loaders - Performs housekeeping duties such as shoveling, using fire hose and digging - May perform work area inspections - Use online inventory control system to manage inventory - Use computer to print out various shipping documents to ensure the proper completion of all shipping related documents - Coordinate shipments with other plant locations and schedule truck shipments - Weigh trucks on scales as they enter and leave the work site - Coordinate transportation issues with corporate group/team - Perform duties related to packing and loading of molybdenum concentrate for shipment - Load bags on trucks for shipment using safe and proper work practices - Complete work orders - Mix and transfer reagents - May perform breaker resets - May be required to perform administrative duties which may include; monitoring plant access, stock printers and monitor phone systems -Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - Six (6) months of experience in a related area - Experience with material handling equipment

Pay Range :

$25.80 - $30.95/Hourly
