This is a project to implement SAP SuccessFactors globally. Reporting to the HRIS Program Manager, the Integration System Analyst is responsible for the design and testing of application integration supporting both technical and business processes.

Dimension:

The incumbent will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help capture, track, and validate business requirements to maximize the investments in the selected business systems.

The Integration System Analyst will create Requirements Definition documents comprising of business problem definition, business needs, functional and technical requirements, and business workflow and process maps. In addition to frequent interactions with key business stakeholders, he/she will also be expected to interact with Development, Quality Assurance, and Operation team members in application portfolio prioritization and work item intake/release planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Build functional specification documents for Integrations involving SuccessFactors and other systems
  • Meet with business and technical stakeholders for these integrations to determine the requirements.
  • Identify and document the technical requirements to build and test the integrations.
  • Support the technical team for them to complete the technical specifications.
  • Participate in developing test cases and selecting existing test cases that prepare the data to trigger the integrations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to test the integrations for all testing phases.
  • Participate in testing of the integration during System Integration Testing.
  • Support the integration development teams with clarifications required during the build of the integrations.
  • Get and document the approvals
  • Coordinate the activities from the different stakeholders for each testing phase and each environment cutover.
  • Provide a detailed plan for his area of work.
  • Identify risks and issues, provide solutions and recommendations, and escalate when necessary
  • Keep his/her plan updated, providing weekly reports and participating in scrum and PI planning sessions.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to prioritize requirements.
  • Liaison between business units and technology teams to accurately gather, analyze, document, and deliver business requirements including functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Adapts to changing business requirements and business needs during active design periods; and can keep Requirement Definitions and other documentation updated accordingly.


Qualifications:

  • 3 to 7 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role responsible for the development of functional specifications for Integrations (must have).
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps is an asset.
  • University Degree or College Diploma with emphasis on management of information systems or another technical discipline. Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) from the International Institute of Business Analysts (IIBA) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and manage assignments simultaneously with tight deadlines.
  • Experience working in large organizations, at Enterprise, Business Unit, and Operating Unit levels.
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors an asset.
  • A general awareness of Information Technology disciplines, including Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Cloud-based Computing (SaaS), Cyber Security, etc.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (O365 preferred)
