A successful international gold producer with operations throughout Africa is looking for an astute 2IC to the Technical Services Manager by hiring an Underground Planning Superintendent to oversee all strategic planning on a top tier operation.

This role operates on a 6/3 FIFO roster from point-of-hire and will require:
  • 8+ years of Mining Engineering experience.
  • Strong underground planning background in a modern mechanized mine.
  • Deswik experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering theories and principles.
  • Strong presentation, oratory, and verbal skills.
  • Able to communicate ideas and recommendations to team members in a clear manner.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization, including executives.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Able to create alternative solutions to problems.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • High level of sound and independent judgement and reasoning.
  • Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Effective leadership skills required.
