As part of the Trillium project based in Ottawa, we are looking for an experienced Planner to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with a passion for Planning and the skills to deliver transformative and high-quality infrastructure and communities.

How will you contribute to the team?
  • Establish detailed construction schedule based on input from area manager
  • Evaluate, review and validate subcontractor or vendor schedules
  • Incorporate subcontractor schedules/activities into master schedule
  • Update master schedule and detailed construction schedule based on input from stakeholders
  • Updates resource assignments based on input from stakeholders
  • Provide critical path and near-critical path analysis and identify opportunities for improvement in collaboration with area manager
  • Provide schedule mitigation plans / strategies when schedule deviates from the baseline
  • Perform What-if analysis as required and support project change management
  • Track actual quantities and produce progress curves as well as deviation reports
  • Produce different schedule reports; 3WLA, 6WLA, etc.
  • Report project status: progress, schedule and earned value


Qualifications:
  • 8 to12 years of experience in planning / scheduling in construction industry
  • Expert in Primavera P6 and in excel (Working knowledge of MSP is a plus)
  • Ability to read engineering drawing
  • Capable of analyzing construction sequence
  • Ability to develop various levels of schedules with inputs from construction leads
  • Light rail project experience a plus
  • Trains signaling control systems, communication experience a plus
  • Commissioning experience a plus
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
