WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator for a fixed term, full time contract with our leading global Resource and Energy Client based within West Perth. Commencing in May, this position will start off for 12 months with view for extension, Monday to Friday focusing on the Scarborough Gas Project located in the Carnarvon Basin.
Duties include:
- Provide necessary support to ensure that all design, procurement, construction, and installation activities are conducted in accordance with the HSE Requirements, including applicable local legislation and International Standards (ISO14001 and ISO 45001)
- Supporting the coordination of offshore scope readiness
- Take part in incident investigations
- Participate in HSE Risk Management and Occupational Safety Risk Assessment
- Provide ongoing support to ensure that Project HSE plans, and procedures are developed and implemented throughout the entire project life
- Participate in pre-construction survey, identify safety criticalities and environmental sensitive areas and design mitigation measures
- Assist the Project engineering and management teams in the Risk Management process
- Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
- Experience working in a similar role within Occupational, Health and Safety
- Previous offshore Australian experience
- Experience dealing with personnel training matrixes (HSE), campaigns and initiatives
- Strong communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency
- Right to work in Australia
