We offer several designated marshalling points within BC including Nanaimo, Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Prince George, Smithers, and Calgary, AB.

Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking an individual for a Fly In, Fly Out opportunity working on a two weeks in, two weeks out rotation.

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Labourer will be accountable for aiding and assisting in the proper maintenance activities within the fixed plant maintenance team. Also assisting with performing preventative maintenance and operational safety inspections on all applicable equipment for the Red Chris Mine site. General clean up and labourer duties will also be included within this role. The incumbent will work with the maintenance team to achieve the overall maintenance strategy for site. Responsibilities are noted below which will include but are not limited to:

Accountabilities:

• Aiding Mill Operations personnel as directed by supervisor
• Cleanup duties as assigned (eg. Shoveling, hosing, clearing of chutes and feeders, removal of debris from work area)
• Other general duties as required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and experience
• Zoom Boom, Bob Cat, Arial work platform, forklift, and Bob cat experience preferred
• Loader experience considered an asset
• Valid driver's license
• Experience in an industrial setting and/or operating industrial equipment considered an asset
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
• Physically fit with the ability/capabilities of lifting fifty pounds (50lbs);
• Self-directed and self-motivated, demonstrating initiative to do more than is expected or required in the position;
• Ability to work in all-weather conditions.
• Comfortable with working at heights
