Position summary
Are you passionate about improving processes and procedures and are experienced in ERP Systems? If so we have an exciting opportunity for Global Solution Procurement System & Process Specialist role, which can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth offices.

The role is responsible for supporting the Process Owner and the business in the Source to Pay (S2P) systems and processes. The role will support the continuous improvement, development and change of the S2P systems to deliver best practice solutions.

The Global Solutions Advisory Team (GSAT) is responsible for change governance across Downer Global Solutions. The team supports functional/technical system enhancements, business process changes, transitions onto global systems, change/comms and training.


THE ROLE
Reporting into the GSAT Manager your role will be responsible for although not limited to:

• Providing expertise on best practice S2P systems and processes, including keeping abreast of key application enhancements.
• Actively work with the Process Owner, system owners and business stakeholders to identify and document gaps in current systems and processes and recommend solutions to meet business requirements.
• Supporting the approval process of initiatives through stakeholder engagement and business case preparation.
• Participating in S2P IT Project/BAU enhancements to ensure they are scoped correctly, solutioned, built, tested and implemented effectively.
• Where required, writing solution designs and functional specifications, complete end to end testing, support user acceptance testing and provide post implementation support.
• Providing functional expertise to resolve escalated S2P application IT incidents.
• Working with vendors to optimise existing solutions.
• Effectively communicate business requirements and insights to cross-functional teams such as Training and Change/ Communication to ensure successful project outcomes
• Supporting documentation and maintenance of S2P Downer Standards.

ABOUT YOU

• S2P functional application experience - support or super user (Coupa or Avetta preferred) (5+ years)
• JDE/SAP or similar ERP as experienced user (5+ years)
• Finance/operational business experience (5+ years).
• Experience in multiple S2P application implementation projects.
• Experience in complex integrated system environments.
• Business process design, solution design and process mapping experience.
• Stakeholder management experience.
• Functional experience in assessment of proposed application changes to ensure they meet required business needs.
• Application testing experience including support of end users during UAT.
• Exposure to a complex organizational environment with diverse business requirements.
• Experience in presenting and facilitating business workshops.
