We are looking for a professional and high-performing Senior Receptionist / Administrator to be the face of our Kerrs Road National Support Centre. In this busy and varied role, you'll be a key representative of Downer, providing quality customer service, support and coordination for our people and visitors.

About the role
You will be the welcoming face of Downer to all different walks of life. You'll also work as part of our Administration team to ensure administration functions within the office are carried out to excellent standards whilst meeting the needs of our internal and external customers. As well as providing frontline reception services, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• General reception duties
• Maintaining and assisting visitors with our security tag system
• Head Fire Warden duties for the Kerrs Road site
• First Aider duties for the Kerrs Road site
• Purchasing Site Supplies
• Maintaining Archive Storage on & off-site
• Invoicing
• Ordering corporate clothing
• Travel bookings
• Audit reporting and creating POs
• Assisting EAs as required

About you
Supporting our Kerrs Road National Support Centre, you will be well versed in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment (with a smile)! Your highly organised, confident and friendly approach and excellent attention to detail would be key to your success in this role. You will have a can-do, solutions-focused attitude and a continuous improvement mindset. We'd also value:
  • With excellent relationship-building abilities, you will quickly grow to learn who's-who and what's what.
  • Experience providing high-quality administration support in a similar or client-facing customer service role.
  • Experience with financial systems, including raising POs, invoicing and claims.
  • A high level of proficiency using Microsoft Office suites such as Word and Excel.
  • Someone who communicates and presents themselves professionally.
