An Internship with Lehigh Hanson is a unique experience.  Not only will you receive on the job training and mentorship from some of the most talented people in our industry, you will make real contributions during your time with us.  Our Interns also have opportunities to interact with senior management, give back to the community, and network with their peers inside and outside of the office.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:
  • To participate in a program in mining planning and design to provide students with work experience that is relevant to their major and compliments their education.
  • Summer Projects vary in scope and size just as our products do.  By the end of the summer, you will have had the opportunity to work with some of our industry's best and brightest managers.
  • Assignments will involve learning all aspects of managing a quarry or sand & gravel operation, including Mine Planning, Operations optimization, Quality Control, Sales, maintenance, Safety, and more.
  • Opportunities will include evaluating the production equipment and mine layout.

  • Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors working toward a BS in Mining or Civil Engineering.

  • Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects.

  • Sustainable management (i.e. compliance with laws and regulations).
