We are looking for a Accounts and Payroll Officer to join our Perth team on a permanent basis.Reporting to the Payroll Manger, this role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing within ADP Payforce and associated reporting

Tasks include:

General Accounting (GA) Support

Supporting GA team with account reconciliations and reporting
Statutory account analysis and inputs to annual external audit and financial statement preparation – focus will be on payroll and associated entries
Backfill support to GA team as and when required
Payroll Administration:

Processing new starters, terminations and transfers between group payrolls;
Ability to Integrate new project based payroll instances;
Recover payroll overpayments by accurately calculating, validating and communicating directly to employees or HR as required, treasury and finance;
Process map and investigation of all payroll issues, including systemic issues, implementing solutions to minimise time critical re-work;
Respond to internal and external audits queries and documentation requests

Ability to provide sound payroll advice to employees across all levels of the organization;
Strong record keeping and organizational skills;
Provide leadership and focus in relation to positive behaviors towards both internal and external customers;
Robust time management and organisational skills, able to work to tight deadlines;
Clear concise written and verbal communication skills;
initiative and tenacity;
Highly proficient in MS Excel
Attention to detail and clear, demonstrable sense of personal and team accountability
