Are you a dedicated problem-solver with a keen eye for finding bugs? Teck is seeking a hardworking Quality Assurance Test Lead will ensure innovative, cloud-based solutions are delivered accurately and on schedule.

The QA Testing Lead will develop & lead execution of test plans for the Integrated Production Planning Program including implementation of an Integrated Planning solution for our QB2 operation. Testing will be focused on assurance that newly developed products meet business requirements. This role will work closely with Teck’s Product Owners for the Plan Information Management System (PIMS) and the Integrated Production Planning (IPP) products.

Qualifications

• Experience in both manual and automated testing
• Experience in building automated test scripts
• Experience with automated testing tools
• Experience with test scripts
• Familiarity leading test planning within Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Excellent reporting, time management, analytical & communication capabilities
• Experience working with development teams
• Understanding and experience with end-to-end testing
• Can manage other testers

Responsibilities

• 5-7 years experience leading QA/Testing
• Lead overall test strategy and plan for the program
• Develop test plans & activities to align with achievement of the Product vision, roadmap and delivery (Program Intervals and Sprints within Agile)
• Assign and manage QA testing activities conducted by QA analyst and other testers
• Support automated testing when required
• Integration testing support for data, system interfaces and custom applications
• Data source testing support
