As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
Hatch is seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager in ourAmbler, PA office. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, results-driven professional with a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 7 years of professional experience preferably in a contract administration related position, and an advanced understanding of both private industry and government contractual terms and conditions, both legal and commercial . Experience with a professional services firm is a plus.
E xcellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are critically important for success in this role. Candidates must also be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills, have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality, as well as have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) is required.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with all aspects of the following CCL functions:

- Reviewing and analyzing Requests for Proposals
- Reviewing contracts received from private industry clients, government agencies, prime consultants and project partners (e.g., contracts, teaming agreements and joint venture agreements)
- Evaluating and advising on project commercial risks (e.g., costing terms, scope requirements, general project risks, risks posed by specific contract terms)
- Evaluating, developing and recommending alternative Terms and Conditions to private industry, government agency and prime contracts
- Meeting and conferring with USA and international Managing Directors, Sector Leads, Project Managers and other staff on various business matters
- Negotiating contract and commercial terms with private industry clients, government agencies, prime consultants and project partners
- Carrying out the entire new contract initiation process, including setting up projects in an EPM system and participating in new project kickoff meetings with multiple departments
- Developing and presenting regular reports on the status of new contract pursuits
