Role Details
Reporting to the Lead: People and Engagement, you will be responsible for providing functional human resources support to site with a focus on maintaining a motivated workforce that is committed to the success and values of Gold Fields Australia.

This role is offered on a 8 days on 6 days off, either residential in Kambalda/Kalgoorlie, or fly in fly out from Perth. Bus transportation is offered to and from site for residential candidates and opportunity for relocation assistance to the successful candidate if desired.

About the role:
- Provide advice, support and coaching to leaders and the People and Engagement Advisors in the areas of employee relations, policies, procedures, and performance management, ensuring tools and resources provided are consistently applied
- Implement key HR projects and strategies, ensuring clear communication and support is provided. Contribute to design and implementation of employee engagement activities including but not limited to onboarding, development planning, diversity and inclusion, and wellness programmes
- Complete and maintain integrity and accuracy of all reports and financial data for the People and Engagement department and effectively communicate, analyse, and interpret information gathered
- Foster a positive climate for an engaged, diverse, and inclusive workforce to drive a performance-based culture
- Facilitate the development and implementation of diversity and retention strategies
- Assist in the development, review, implementation and monitoring of all Human Resources procedures and systems to create consistency within the People and Engagement function and monitor adherence and compliance to legislation
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a minimum of three years' experience in an Advisory role
- Proven experience working with employment legislation, investigations, and performance case management
- Ability to create and collaborate effective and respectful working relationships with leaders and employees at all levels of the business
- Prior experience working in a mining or resources fly-in fly-out site environment is desirable
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and prior experience with Success Factors and SAP is preferable
- Valid Driver's Licence
