Hudbay Minerals Inc. is seeking a sr. Financial Analyst at our operations in Flin Flon, MB.

Responsibilities:

• Financial and operational accounting which will include participating in month-end reporting by preparing journal entries, reporting the monthly results, and forecasting and budgeting
• Assist in analyzing of our monthly and quarterly results for internal and external reporting
• Work as part of a team to reconcile accounts
• Ensure SOX compliance

Professional Experience / Qualifications:

• Above average computer literacy (specifically Excel)
• Strong analytical skills
• Excels in a team environment
• Adaptable communication skills
• Self-management skills
• Designated accountant
• 3-5 years experience in an industrial setting with knowledge of the mining industry a definite bonus
• Willingness to learn and advance within the finance team
• Dedicated and passionate towards continued learning
