Our client provides crucial raw materials to the battery metals market, utilising ion exchange processes to eliminate environmental damage and massively boost production. We're seeking a Senior Finance Manager to play a key role in imparting critical insights to drive decision-making. The right candidate will be analytical, accountable, and set high standards; able to operate in a growth-oriented, rapidly changing and occasionally ambiguous environment.

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be able to...
  • Create and lead the long-term planning/forecasting processes, including annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Integrated)
  • Build monthly and quarterly Budget vs. Actual and KPI review packages for the Exec team and the Board of Directors
  • Lead monthly or quarterly variance analysis and forecasting meetings with business leaders
  • Provide decision support to business leaders and the executive team on investment, project, M&A decisions and strategic development
  • Collaborate with Accounting to streamline financial close process and financial reporting
  • Serve as a thought leader to improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable financial solutions
  • Spearhead ad-hoc projects to further improve the overall performance of the team and organization

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will preferably have...
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, accounting, economics, or related
  • 6+ years of work experience in Corporate Planning/Strategy, FP&A or a related field (investment banking, strategy consulting, or auditing)
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Extensive experience building detailed forecast models with integrated P&L, Balance sheet and Cashflows
  • Experience managing budgets and building supporting processes and systems in partnership with functional leaders
  • Experience implementing and using ERPs (NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, etc.)
  • Experience in a fast-growing business environment, ideally in mergers/acquisitions
