About the role
We are looking for an Analyst to support on Technology and Information management improvements across the health, safety, and environment (HSE) domains for the corporation, product groups and the HSE function and to partner with the technical team to prepare scoping documents for information systems projects.
What the role entails
This role is a great opportunity for an individual to be a part of a team whose motive is to achieve Rio Tinto Group vision of 'Zero Harm'. Working 5 days on, 2 off roster.
Reporting line: Principal Advisor I-Tech & Information Management
Scope: Your scope will include (but not limited to) below:
- Undertaking pro-active technology & analytic initiatives to provide business insight
- Providing development support for the information systems improvements in Microsoft Office 365 tools (Power Apps, SharePoint, Power Automate etc.)
- Provide proficient expertise and development in Microsoft SharePoint on-premises / Online and associated M365 technologies
- Development & Management of the HSE document management system and discipline learning tools
- Contributing to additional reporting & analysis work in the Health, safety and environment domains. This involves ongoing application of HSE domain knowledge to assess data and provide performance insights.
- Identifying and correcting data quality issues, if any.
- Possess good knowledge in the functional and technical aspects of the Microsoft 365 / Power Platform, including specialized skills in multiple Microsoft 365 areas:
- SharePoint
- Document Management System
- Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate)
About yourself
We are looking for passionate candidates having:
- A Professional qualification - Graduate/Post-Graduate
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in Technology, Information management and analytics
- Competent in the use of electronic document / record management systems
- Business Administration / support experience
- Strong ability to prioritize information and activities based on urgency and importance
- Intermediate computer literacy skills (including the Microsoft Office suite of programs)
