As we transform the way we operate at Teck Resources, your role will be pivotal in ensuring our transition is smooth and sustainable.

You will be working with and supporting our ERP implementation projects at several mine sites to manage and coordinate organizational change. You will need to be adaptable, quick to learn, and build trust. This role will provide a range of support from strategy, detailed planning, coaching, and hands-on delivery of organizational change management delivery. It’s an exciting environment to work in and the pace is fast, with a focus on quality and delivery. The size and the scope of the initiatives and programs will be complex in nature and include people, processes, and technology-related change.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with key stakeholders to define areas of the program, understand the impact of the change and agree on adoption criteria.
  • Build the OCM strategy and detailed plan for an ERP implementation.
  • Track and report the progress and status of the OCM plan.
  • Hands-on person, working on the OCM deliverables.
  • Report into a change lead and align deliverables to the overall strategy and adoption
  • Support the Building Change Capabilities program by adopting the approach, educating our stakeholders, and reinforcing the practice through best practice delivery.
  • Coach less experienced change agents and engagement specialists, supporting them through the project delivery/stage gate process.
  • Establish and/or lead a change champion network.
  • Identify, track, and monitor change-related issues, risks, and opportunities, and create mitigation plans for change being driven across the site.
  • Share your approaches, learnings, and insights with the corporate change agent network.
  • Design and facilitate workshops to support the progress of our transformation.
  • Translate and simplify technical language into plain English, using an informal and friendly tone.
  • Find creative and innovative ways to engage stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in dedicated organizational change management roles for ERP implementations.
  • Must have strong skills and experience in the Microsoft Office suite (MS Teams and SharePoint is a benefit).
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of integrity when it comes to managing confidential information.
  • Experience in a digital and IT environment is a must.
  • Experience in Operational Readiness and managing culture change is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, problem solve, stay organized and manage multiple assignments.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain and ensure accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually, and in a collaborative, team setting.
  • Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to measure their effectiveness and demonstrate value.
  • Comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity.
  • CCMP designation is a benefit.
  • Experience in OCM projects for SAP Success Factors major implementation projects is a benefit.
