Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Fixed Maintenance Projects Planner with our Cortez operation. The successful candidate will provide mechanical support for all Underground Fixed Maintenance related capital and expensed projects.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule all project work given to the Fixed maintenance execution group as needed to create and deliver on an optimal life of mine plan in a Safe and Environmentally sound manner
• Responsible for some site electrical power distribution and services, Crushing and Conveying Mechanical and E&I
• Small project EPCM, PdM/CM, RCM, Planning and Scheduling for all areas mentioned above are also included, with other duties as assigned.
• Coordinate activities that support NGM's best business practices
• Modify existing or create new operating procedures and other tools that will ensure maximum asset value is achieved while staying true to the Nevada Gold Mines Vision and Core Values.
• Fill in for the Underground Fixed Maintenance Planner in his absence.

Qualifications:

• Five (5) years practical experience in Maintenance, preferably in a mining environment required
• Accredited post-secondary education will be considered as experience, amount depending on nature and extent preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, SAP, MST, APM, Power BI, PI Vison preferred
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required
• Excellent leadership, people, and communication skills required
• Exhibit outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills, and analytical skills required
• Demonstrated safety leadership capability for both self and team required
• Specialized mechanical/electrical trades experience, particularly with Process/UG mining equipment preferred
• Exposure to PdM/CM technologies, RCM, RtDuet preferred
• Project management experience preferred
