Project Manager, Infrastructure
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Full Time Permanent Position

The successful candidate will have 15 years of experience and with significant multi-disciplinary management of infrastructure projects. Experience with managing infrastructure rail related projects and having a structural bridge background are major benefits. The successful candidate will manage project teams including but not limited to structural disciplines including with a specialization in bridge structures, civil road disciplines, civil stormwater disciplines, civil utility disciplines, geotechnical/hydro-geology/Geo-Environmental disciplines and environmental disciplines. Experience of working in a Bridge Information Modelling (BrIM) or Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment is an asset. Knowledge and experience of working with rail authorities and their various stake holders e.g. utility owners, local authorities, environmental regulators, is also an asset. Some of the projects are also in a design-build environment, an understanding and experience of working within such models is seen as an asset. Further aspects of the successful candidate will include:

• Strong technical base including for bridge engineering and a good understanding of other fields including for civil roads, civil tracks, civil utilities, civil stormwater, geotechnical and environmental

Role:

• Project Manager overseeing large multi-disciplinary infrastructure teams to deliver designs from initial to construction level contract documents
• Liaise with authorities, clients and other members of the project teams
• Management activities will include establishing budgets and schedules for project teams, stakeholder/client engagement, monitoring performance of teams, coordination of teams, meetings including chairing, peer reviews including high level technical reviews and approvals, addressing queries from client/authorities/project teams, quality control, input into/creation of project management documentation and ensuring design work by teams are meeting project requirements including for quality of work, time-lines, budgets, safety, sustainability and meeting all applicable standards, guidelines and codes.
