WesTrac are looking for a motivated Plant Mechanics to join our expanding Fleet Delivery Team.

You will form part of an exciting team traveling to Various Major and Minor Mine sites across Western Australia to assemble and Commission some of Caterpillars latest range of earthmoving equipment including but not limited to:

Dump trucks - 777 ,785, 789 & 793F

Excavators - 6040 & 6060

Loaders - 992 & 994K

Bulldozers - D10T2

Drills - MD 6310

As well as being exposed to cutting edge technology on a daily basis, with only the limit of product knowledge to match your desire, combined with product specific in house RTO courses will leave you experiencing the forefront of Modern Mining industry.

These positions are full-time permanent opportunities.

The roster:

• 8 & 6 roster, day shift only! 12-hour days (excluding 30 mins unpaid break)
• FIFO from Perth to various locations

To be successful the following is required:

• Australian-Recognised Trade Certificate
• Valid Working at Heights
• LF (Forklift) ticket and competency
• High Risk Work License
• Safety and hazard awareness
• Exceptional communication skills
• Be well aligned with and exhibit WesTrac’s core values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer.

Please note: The successful candidate must be able to pass a medical, DAS and Police Clearance - these are compulsory for mine site access.
