Job Details
Title: Environmental Superintendent (FIFO / Mining)
Location: Brisbane
Salary: $160,000-$220,000 + Short Term + Long Term Bonus
Roster: 8/6/5/4
Company: Nationally Recognised Mining Company
Reports to: HSEC Manager
Development: Opportunity to advance into HSEC Manager role
Team size: 8 members
The mine site: High performing / profitable mine site
Culture: Steady, experienced, well-established site
Priorities for the person coming into the role:
- Need someone with Environmental leadership experience on an operation, confident and excellent communication skills
- The person needs to be experienced in permitting
- Experience with ground water and working with the regulator on that issue, would be helpful
Challenges:
- Ground water
- Project and feasibility study permitting
- Dealing with regulator
Must haves:
- Mining environmental leadership experience
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Regulatory experience
- Strong permitting experience
- Qualification - related field
