We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Field service Technician to work for a reputable company based in Newcastle and would love to hear from you!
- $51.98 Flat rate + Super
- Ute and fuel card provided
- 4 Day working weeks
As a Mechanical Field services Technician, you will help deliver an exceptional customer experience working on Heavy Diesel underground equipment and mining machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform breakdown, servicing, and general maintenance of a variety of underground mobile plant.
- Work in a variety of field environments including workshops, surface (mine site) and underground (mine site)
- Engineering Trade Certificate
- Ability to take ownership of each job and be responsible for meeting timeframes.
- Motivated and hardworking, with a professional attitude.
- Previous experience with performing maintenance and repairs to mobile plant (hydraulic and Pneumatics experience desirable)
- Have excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities
- Be autonomous, able to operate independently, and unsupervised.
- Be able to communicate clearly, concisely, and respectfully to onsite clients and other tradespersons.
- Current Drivers Licence (C Class)
