CSG Talent are looking for Electrical trade or Engineer to join American leading mining company with multiple assets in the country.

Electrical Improvement Superintendent

This role, under limited supervision act as the subject matter expert in the organization, management and evaluation of assigned areas with the goal of achieving higher equipment availability and lowering maintenance costs. Assists in operator education and the development of advanced diagnostic tools.

You will allocate your time visiting all company sites assisting in the critical tasks, mentor staff and show the best practice.

Please note: This position has the possibility to work remotely up to 100% of the time. You can live anywhere you wish in Arizona. The position will require candidate to travel to corporate offices and/or site locations.

Relocation assistance is provided to help you to move to Arizona.

Description

  • Establish tactical and strategic goals, objectives, policies and procedures in assigned functional area within the business
  • Coordinate with site staff and corporate teams in the inspection of assigned functional area operations and project progress
  • Provide administrative and technical direction to staff; interpret policies and procedures established by regulatory agencies
  • Work with functional areas to correct deficiencies
  • Forecast necessary funds for operational improvement projects including staff, materials and supplies
  • Submit budget recommendations and justifications; monitor and control expenditures
  • Develop, plan and coordinate assigned projects and responsibilities, which may include project management, estimating and program development; coordinate work with other units and site departments
  • Provide information and resources to site officials and other departments
  • Review Capital Improvement Plans and make recommendations
  • Evaluate infrastructure, facilities and operating systems for needed maintenance and repair
  • Coordinate the activities of Innovation Engineers and Consultants
  • Perform other duties as required


Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED and seven (7) years of related operational or maintenance experience, including supervisory or management experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or management experience
  • Knowledge of the processes, costs, schedules, constraints and deliverables of the global company to improve safety, process efficiencies, production rates, cost controls and protection of the environment
  • Knowledge of the equipment and associated SOPs at a site level
  • Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Expert in conduction Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Expert industry knowledge of mining and processing, familiarity with mining terminology and credibility with the field
  • Expert experience developing and delivering training and document writing
  • Proficient computer skills in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Expert leadership and interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related Engineering fields.
  • Experience with maintenance of electrical equipment.
