About the Client
We are currently seeking experienced Diesel Mechanic/Mechanical Fitters to work 2:1 roster day shifts and night shifts?
Candidates are required to Undertaking mechanical repairs and refurbishment as required, Identifying reliability issues & improvements. Conducting regular planned mechanical maintenance and repairs as requested and responding to and addressing equipment breakdowns.

Skills/Experience

• - Heavy Diesel or Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate (essential)
  
• - Post trade experience on civil earthmoving equipment (large excavators and mobile plant)
  
• - Exposure to marine equipment (dredges, barges, vessels etc.) is an advantage
  
• - Hydraulic systems, propulsion systems and pump experience would be beneficial
  
• - Must be physically fit & able to perform manual tasks
