This global leading lithium Mining firm are looking for a Cost Engineer/ Estimator to join them in their new Amsterdam office.

Our client is leading the way in renewable energy resources and need a Cost Engineer/ Estimator to join their team in Amsterdam.

This Resource Development firm with 20 years of global experience in engineering, project delivery, project, and asset management, and provides project strategies and solutions across battery minerals, mineral sands, bulk commodities and more.

Requirements of the role:
  • Provide cost estimates/comparison costs for the value of goods that are provided by the supply chain.
  • To collect and analyse data and information to estimate costs associated. Works proactively towards cost target objectives in collaboration with others.
  • Gather proposals, specifications and related documents and liaise with stakeholders to convert specifications to cost estimates for new and current products.
  • Utilise cost methodologies and tools and appropriate software models and packages to prepare and maintain reliable and accurate data.
  • Assess cost effectiveness of products and track actual costs relative to budget and report status on a regular basis to ensure costs are in line with forecasts.

Based in Amsterdam you will need:
  • 10 years within cost management
  • Experience in Chemical Plant
  • Experience throughout Europe
  • Experience in AACE estimate classifications
  • Project controls experience would be great but not mandatory
