Job Details
Job title: Security Operations Manager
Company: Global Leading Mining Company
Location: Australia EXPAT FIFO position
Roster: 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Salary: Highly Attractive EXPAT package
Key Focus:
- Coaching & developing local workforce
- Lead and set standards for site security team
- Support senior operational team across the site
- Key liaison with local police force
- Oversight and leadership of the security team
- Reduce illegal mining activity
- Develop effective policy, procedures, processes
Core competences:
- Mining security and asset protection leadership experience
- Expatriate experience in Africa, PNG, Asia, South America, Pacific (Highly desired)
- Police / military background
- Ability to lead with authority and influence across a large site
- Experience of working on challenging sites
- Experience leading large teams
