WorkPac are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work in a large energy group, supporting the team with all engineering services across sites around Australia. This role is open to candidates based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sunshine Coast.
Duties include:
- Project managing small works project, including designing and reviewing components, problem solving engineering issues as they arise, producing engineering drawings, and all related project administration documentation
- Procurement of goods and services for projects within company guidelines
- Gather and analyze data for relevant projects
- Conduct energy audits for clients to identify energy efficiency and financial savings
- Perform engineering heat load calculations for equipment sizing and energy modelling purposes, including structural calculations
- Monitor energy performance and perform data analysis of key clients as required
- Project administration and other ad-hoc duties as required.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 5-10 years experience in a similar role
- Experience conducting energy audits
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- IT competence and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety responsibilities in the workplace.
- Drivers Licence
