The company owns and operates the Ekati Diamond Mine, located in Canada's Northwest Territories. Position Overview
As a member of the Maintenance Team, the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent will report to the Sr. Manager Maintenance and work a 2 X 2 rotation at Ekati. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Promote and demonstrate safe work practices;
- Effectively lead and coach team members;
- Manage the 2 year/ 5year maintenance program to align to business' strategic operating plan;
- Manage 2 year/ 5year Operating and Capital budgets;
- Manage monthly spend and quarterly forecasts and communicate variances to plan;
- Manage the creation and modification of contracts;
- Manage implementation of & adherence to the Work Management RASI chart;
- Manage work management KPI's and variance actions;
- Approve life cycle analysis recommendations;
- Manage compliance to regulatory authorities;
- Always protect the safety and well-being of yourself and your co-workers. Follow all Company specific safety protocols and Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Education/Experience
- Ticketed Journeyman or Degree Qualified Engineer;
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent;
- 15 years of related industry experience including at least 5+ years maintenance planning experience or equivalent combination;
- Sound and correct understanding of equipment reliability concepts;
- Solid appreciation of risk management strategy and quality management methods and practices;
- Working knowledge of SAP and computer literacy with willingness to learn new computer skills;
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to communicate clearly.
- Experience working in the mining industry, northern Canada, and an understanding of the northern regulatory environment is preferred
