We are seeking a Senior Accountant to provide general accounting, financial and administrative

services and other duties as required for the Magino Mine.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Manager, Finance and Administration, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for

providing accounting, financial and administrative services. This includes general accounting duties,

Cost Control, General Ledger accounts reconciliations.

MAGINO MINE:

The Magino Project is a brown-fields site located in northern Ontario, Canada that contains an historical

underground gold mine, landfill and tailings management facility ("TMF"). The Corporation has

conducted a Feasibility Study during 2017 that examined mining the deposit using conventional open

pit mining methods and extraction of gold from the ore using a 10,000 tonnes per day carbon-in-pulp

("CIP") mineral processing facility. When developed, Magino will produce around 150,000 ounces of

gold during the first five years of production. The project has over a 15-year mine production life

(including one year of pre-production).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, environmental and community relations concerns and

regulations.

• Ensure clear communication within the company regarding accounting and finance matters.

• Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with debt covenants and terms.

• Assist in regulatory filings.

• Assist with and perform period end closure.

• Assist Project Controls and Corporate Accounting with month end procedures.

• Prepare accounting journal entries.

• GL accounts reconciliations.

• Prepare or assist in preparation of cost reports.

• Analyse and review accounting reports for detailed operational departmental cost.

• Assist in establishing processes and procedures for controlling and monitoring costs.

• Provide administrative support.

• Maintain a filing system for financial documents.

• Prepare financial working papers for use by auditors.

• General assistance for ad-hoc analysis, reports, modelling as required.

• Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

• 5-7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Good understanding for IFRS specifically IFRS 16, IFRIC 10 and IAS 16.

• Understanding and/or previous experience with managing debt convenants.

• Previous experience developing an asset register and capitalization of components.

• Previous experience in a construction or mining environment is an asset.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word).

• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meeting deadlines is required.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems.

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills, good work ethic and ability to work independently as

required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• The role is located at the Magino Mine, which is approximately 88 kilometers northeast of Wawa,

Ontario, Canada.

• The ideal candidate for the role will work a rotation of 4 days on and 3 days off (10-hour days) at

site. We will also consider a flexible work location with remote work and travel to site once a

month or when required.

• Although you will be assigned a work schedule, this is not a guaranteed schedule of hours and

your work hours may vary with the needs of the company.
