Dogman/Civil Labourer

About the Client:
Our client is an expert with complex pipe jacking and microtunneling projects covering a range of tunnel diameters, lengths and ground conditions .
They also have extensive experience in detailed excavation for deep shafts, including caisson construction also experts in deep shaft construction.

About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking an experienced dogman/civil labourer to assist our client on their current civil construction project out in South Yarra.
Start Date : ASAP
End Date : approx. June 2023
Day shift : 7am to 5pm (Mon to Fri)
Pay rate : $42.00 per hour plus overtime penalties and super
Daily travel : $25

This role would be suitable for an experienced ticketed dogman civil labourer looking to jump on to their next civil project.

There is potential for this to be an on-going role depending on your performance. Our client has picked up another project out on Elizabeth St, Melbourne CBD which they can look at moving you over if you are an outstanding performer.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Pit and pipe work
  
• Will also be doing microtunnelling
  
• MH and connections
  
• Any other civil labourer duties as directed by our client
  
• Working in a fast-paced environment safely
  
• Adhering to all safety protocols and COVID regulations on site
  

Skills/Experience:

• Dogman/Civil Labourer experience is MANDATORY - Must have recently worked on a civil project in the last 2 years (road, building or subdivision)
  
• White Card
  
• Dogman ticket (current)
  
• Confined space and working at heights ticket (ideal)
  
• Physically fit to carry out the duties listed
  
• Can pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Test
  
• Double vaccinated against COVID-19/Valid Medical Exemption Letter
  
• Be reliable
  
• Have your own car to get to work
  
• Have full working rights in Australia - this position has full time work hours
