Dynamic Earth Solutions (DES) specializes in site planning, spatial information and digital terrain modeling, surface and subsurface investigations, rock mechanics, underground structures, geotechnical laboratory services, flood forecasting and water resource management through our geotechnical, hydrotechnical, and civil site development expertise.

Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated OpenRoads Designer to join ourDynamic Earth Solutions group in Brisbane

Our Dynamic Earth Solutions (DES) group forms an integrated core that provides clients with outstanding project execution through our geotechnical, hydrotechnical, and civil site development expertise. From concept to operation, we’re committed to providing traditional services alongside proprietary technologies and innovative thinking to deliver custom, cost-effective solutions.

As the successful candidate you will:

• Work within multi-discipline project teams to deliver a wide range of projects including process plants, roads, stormwater/wastewater/water, bulk earthworks, haul roads and retaining walls
• Develop deliverables for concept studies through to detailed design and construction, including:
  • 3D earthworks models
  • 2D drawings
  • Material take-offs

You will bring to this role:

You will have 3+ years of experience in a similar designer role, with proficiency in any of the following software - 12d Model, OpenRoads or Civil3D software and relevantformal qualification from a recognised tertiary institution. You will have the abilityto work in a small team or independently, along with excellentcommunication skills and general computer literacy (CAD, Microsoft Office).
